ABOUT US

• We meet as a New Testament local church in accordance with the words written in Acts chapter 2 verse 42 “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”
• Our vision is to win souls for Christ and nurture them in accordance with the words spoken by LORD Jesus Christ in Matthew’s Gospel chapter 28 verses 19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
• The inspiration for the name of the assembly came from the scriptures signifying the importance of the WORD of GOD in the New Testament times.

(a) Gospel of John chapter 1 and verse 1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” and

(b) Acts chapter 17 verses 10-13,

The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived, they went into the Jewish synagogue. Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.Many of them therefore believed, with not a few Greek women of high standing as well as men. But when the Jews from Thessalonica learned that the word of God was proclaimed by Paul at Berea also, they came there too, agitating and stirring up the crowds.
